For those who are promoting green design to support green living, they will often attend exhibitions to bring awareness of this. In order to attract and retain attention, they must come up with some innovative ideas that will support their concepts.
The Booth
The first thing that has to be considered when setting up a green exhibit is the booth. If this is built with green materials, then it supports the value of this type of a green concept. It has to look impressive otherwise, and if it is not appealing, then the general public or contractors are not going to have any interest in green design. Planning a booth such as this is going to take a little more work and innovation, but this will prove that green design is workable.
A Calming Environment
Green design is promoting healthier living. The most significant impact it can have is with a design that has a calming effect to it. The booth design can create this. Many different themes can be incorporated to display this concept. Some examples are:
- A calming zen garden that depicts tranquillity.
- A theme surrounding a forest cabin that automatically makes people feel relaxed.
- A theme revolving around art which has another calming effect.
Tranquil designs for the booth are a great promotion tool for green design.
Interaction
Another approach with the green exhibition is to generate some interaction among the visitors. There are different ways that this can be accomplished. For example, those visiting the booths could become involved in making small kits that are green-related that could be used by different communities.
Give Aways
Almost everyone who attends a trade show expects to come away with some free stuff. It’s no different if they are going to attend a green design exhibition. This is a really important part of these tradeshows.
